We’re thrilled to announce that the 13th Triennial Invitational Choice Symposium will take place in beautiful Vail, Colorado—a stunning mountain destination that offers memorable activities, breathtaking views, and the perfect backdrop for inspiring ideas and deep conversations.
The conference will be hosted by the University of Colorado Boulder, and co-chaired by Alix Barasch, Nicholas Reinholtz, Amit Bhattacharjee, and Phil Fernbach.
About the Choice Symposium:
The Choice Symposium brings together leading scholars from across disciplines to advance the study of human choice behavior and decision making. Designed to foster deep, generative conversations, the symposium features a set of parallel workshops, each centered on a well-defined theme. Workshops are organized by two to three thought leaders, who invite a small group of participants (typically 10–15) to join the conversation.
About the Venue:
The 2026 Symposium will take place at The Hythe in Vail, a luxurious alpine resort set in the heart of the Colorado Rockies.
More details (including Call for Proposals) coming soon—but for now, mark your calendars for August 12–15, 2026, and get ready for a memorable few days of choice research, community, and Colorado sunshine!
