Call for Papers: Choice Symposium Special Collection in Marketing Letters

We are excited to announce that Marketing Letters will publish a special collection of papers in collaboration with the 13th Triennial Invitational Choice Symposium in Vail, Colorado (https://www.choicesymposium2026.com).

Marketing Letters is a premier outlet for high-quality research that has long served as the traditional home for Choice Symposium proceedings, with papers from prior symposia consistently ranking among its most-cited articles. Participating author teams are encouraged to submit manuscripts that synthesize the discussions and insights generated during their workshops, helping disseminate these ideas to the broader research community and shape the trajectory of future research.

Consistent with the interdisciplinary nature of the Choice Symposium, this special collection seeks submissions that advance our understanding of individual choice behavior and decision making, ideally by drawing on perspectives from multiple academic disciplines. Among other considerations, submissions will be evaluated for their potential to stimulate important and potentially disruptive future research, as well as their appeal to marketing theory and practice.

The submission portal will open on November 1, 2026, and remain open until the final deadline for the special collection on December 15, 2026.

Manuscripts submitted to the special collection are expected to be of the highest quality. All submissions will undergo the standard Marketing Letters editorial review process, and be expected to adhere to its standard submission guidelines (https://link.springer.com/journal/11002/submission-guidelines). Please note that manuscript text is limited to 5,000 words, including the abstract, main text, and references.

Please submit manuscripts through the Marketing Letters submission system (https://www.editorialmanager.com/mark/default.aspx). During the submission process, make sure to select "Choice Symposium 2026" as the article type.

The Choice Symposium co-chairs will serve as Guest Editors for these submissions. Accepted articles will be published online as soon as they are accepted and designated as part of the Choice Symposium Special Collection.
